An Alpacka Raft opens up unlimited opportunities to travel in the backcountry, but adding boating equipment to your pack requires some compromises. A full featured Kokatat® dry suit is an ideal piece of equipment for your daily paddling needs, but its too bulky and heavy to carry on a long backcountry expedition. You need something lighter and more packable for these kinds of trips. Each of our paddling suits is designed to meet the unique needs of the backcountry packrafting community. The Stowaway is light enough to be carried on any trip and ready for duty when conditions turn bad. The Stowaway Tough offers full immersion protection of a standard dry suit in a backpackable weight and size. Finally, the Trekker is a true amphibious suit designed to be worn all day every day in harsh conditions on land and water.

All of our paddling suits are made in Arcata, California by Kokatat® and feature our unique Split-Zip design with a waterproof Ti-Zip zipper encircling the waist, which makes the suits easy to get on and off, exchange layers, hike with the top off, and bathroom breaks.
